Privacy Policy
Short version: Pereyos Brazil does not collect, sell, or share any personal information. Your settings stay on your iPhone. The app only goes online to download exchange rates and app updates, and neither request includes anything you type.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not receive your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or usage data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves a small amount of data locally on your iPhone: your chosen currencies and units, your tip percentage, and the most recently downloaded exchange rates so the converter works offline. Amounts you type and bill totals are never saved. This data is never sent to us, and deleting the app removes it. If you use iCloud or iPhone backups, it may be included in your backup under Apple's privacy terms.
Clipboard
The app only writes to your clipboard when you tap or hold a value to copy it. It never reads your clipboard.
Exchange rates
When you open the Currency screen or tap refresh, the app downloads current exchange rates from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev), a free service that publishes European Central Bank reference rates. This request only asks for exchange rates and contains no personal information or amounts you enter. As with any internet request, Frankfurter's servers receive your IP address and standard request details such as device type. We do not control how Frankfurter handles that information.
App updates
When it launches, the app checks Expo's update service (u.expo.dev) for updates to its own code. This check sends basic technical information needed to deliver the right update, such as app version and platform. It does not include personal information and is not used by us to identify or track you.
Third parties
Apart from the exchange rate and update requests described above, the app does not connect to any other service. It contains no advertising, analytics, or crash reporting tools, and we do not sell or share data with anyone.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
